Argon 18, same as the Danes. I think the separation occurred at the bar/stem connection.

In related news, my on again, off again relationship with my front derailler aka chain dropper stopper took a turn when the little bastard was finally left off for the Nat 12 after being fitted and removed about 5 times.

No chain drops during the race (presumably because I wasn't actually going fast enough to get near gears that might throw the chain)

I'm sure they would have collected data if they could, but their new crank doesn't have it yet. As a matter of regulation the rider is not allowed to see the numbers while riding, and for reasons they might not want to publish it, but they would still want the data for analysis in order to judge what they need to do if they want to get the record back after Ganna does a 3:57 at sea level in the World Championship next month 😀

You mean the analysis where they spent time reverse calculating the watts he would have used?

A friend of mine nearly bought a second-hand wind tunnel from Cranfield. But in the end he ended buying a third EMC chamber instead. Not much use to me.

I still haven’t figured out how to fire my one up. So. Many. Interlocks. And then it’s a matter of how I sneak it on without the main building noticing 250kW of motors kicking in.

I’m working on it…
