• Does that kind of ‘driving’ really exist 99% of the time though? Without closing roads, helicopter shots and graduated filters, UK driving is mostly traffic and speed restrictions.
    A motorbike opens the roads up a lot more as traffic is so easily passable but isn’t so casual before or after.

    No. That's why I sold the Porsche and got a big comfy estate with a warp speed option.

    I do love a fast "iron fist, velvet glove" estate car but everytime I get in my underpowered, analogue everything and slightly unsafe chassis dynamics Peugeot 306 I'm reminded that you can enjoy a mundane drive to the shops at normal speed if you are actively engaged in the process of driving.
