  • I'm trying to switch the original fork of my Caad6 to a Look HSC4, so I don't need to cut the original fork for slamming my stem. Also don't want to have to deal with the (original) starnut in it.

    However, the Look fork appears to have some kind of integrated (carbon) crown race. If I put a (45 degr) crown race on top of that, I end up with a huge gap between fork and headtube.

    Does anyone know if the Look forks require some kind of shallow crown race, or is it just not compatible with the caad5/6 frame?
