At the moment they're soft as they've been soaking to extract the sugars. When I have used them to make a homemade granola I bake them to get them crunchy again, but I think they'd work as is in muesli. I'll bring you a kg and if it doesn't work out, you can throw them into your compost (that's what I would have to do most likely with some of them anyways!)
If anyone coming tonight wants any spent grains, I had a beer-brewing day yesterday, and have several kilos of malted Wheat and malted barley (Europils) please let me know, as I have lots more than I can use in my bread/granola for the next few months. They make for a nice addition to a whole grain seeded loaf!
