FS - 1989 Raleigh Team Mountain Bike

Hey, For sale is my 1989 (i think) Raleigh Team Mountain Bike. It's the Reynolds 501 version from the stickers and research. Bought and updated to be my shopping bike, which it has been for the last few months very successfully, but sadly I don't have the space anymore to keep it, which is a shame.

Size wise, the Seat Tube (Center BB to top) is 21", and the Top Tube is 23" CTC. I'm 6ft and ride as pictured.

Condition is good considering its age. No damage beyond a few scratches, light surface rust etc as expected. (Nothing structural or anything like that.)

When I picked it up I regreased the Tange Unique-X headset and popped a new UN55 BB in, both of which are nice and smooth. I've also swapped the brakes over to a new set of CX-50's (I believe as they were kicking around in the shed). It's also got a new Bontrager Rear Wheel, and matching front wheel (not attached yet, but included in the sale). The Groupset is a full on Sunrace XCT, with the exception of the front shifter which i swapped over to a Rivendell Silver Shifter for smoothness, although I think I do still have the original LH shifter that I'll include if I can find it and it wasn't lost to the shed move. It's also got a set of Giles Betroud Fenders, cheapo rack from Velo Vitality and a Wald 137 basket.

The bike is currently located just outside portsmouth for collection, which is on the Waterloo / Portsmouth Train line if that helps.

Price wise, I'm thinking around £200

Very nice, my childhood dream bike! Would've bitten your hand off for this if I had a justification for a second 80s steel MTB but space won't allow it. GLWS
