• Asking price £800 ONO

I’m selling my Condor Terra-X which I bought in Feb 2020 with the intention of using it as an off-road capable commuter. Lockdown hit in March, so it’s had minimal use since (148.1km according to Strava). I don’t commute anymore as I’ve changed jobs and now work completely remote.

I’ve been holding onto it for the last year because I’d considered keeping it because I really like the bike, despite not using it very much. It’s been fun to work on / upgrade, and for the occasional ride around my local forest.

I purchased it on eBay in 2020 and collected in-person in London. I don’t know much about the history of the frame, other than the seller had also been using it as a commuter and for the odd CX muck-about in Epping Forest. Nonetheless, it’s in very good condition with only a few minor surface marks on the paintwork (pictured). My guess is that this is the 2014-2015 model of the Terra-X.

The bike was purchased as frameset + groupset only, so I’ve bought a number of brand-new parts to complete the bike and bring the existing ones back up to scratch. Including: handlebars, stem, carbon seat post, saddle, wheels, tyres, brake pads, new gear + brake cables, chain and replacement headset bearings. As mentioned above, these new parts have all had less than 150km of use.

Total bike weight as pictured is 8.95kg.

In terms of fit it’s a 52cm frame and I’m 179cm tall. Current saddle height is 745mm, saddle nose to centre handlebar is 545mm and the saddle to bar drop is approx 90mm. Obviously there are many factors to consider with bike fit, but I presume this would fit someone in the 173-179cm height range.

The bike is currently set up with cantilever brakes but the frame has a mount for an I.S. style disc brake caliper. Paired with the Columbus Mud Disc fork (sold here: https://www.condorcycles.com/products/condor-terra-x-carbon-cyclocross-fork) the bike can be fully converted to disc brakes.

One downside to this bike is that it doesn’t have the facility to mount bottle cages, presumably because its intended use is as a pure cyclocross racer.

    Included extras:

    • A spare derailleur hanger
    • 100mm stem if 110mm isn’t your preference (see spec below)

Collection from Berkhamsted station (30 mins train from London Euston)
