Must be 80 liters plus just in panniers.
But if you go so remote you have to carry that much food you'd maybe want a less roadie bike? -

Maybe it's just for camping in comfort.
You could get a sleeping bag and a mat in one pannier, tent in another, food, cooking pots and pans, stove and plate etc in another, clothes in the 4th. Quite easy to fill that much space even for a weekend camping if you would be happy carrying extra for comfort and if your gear is regular old camping stuff rather than ultralight bike packing gear -

Isn't it more the point that these are all the bag options you have and you pick and choose?

Anyone on here have a bamboo gravel frame?
Saw this and thought it looked pretty cool:

You must have ridden close to my house and I have no idea where any of those are! Do you have a route?
Did I follow you near Marple/ strines last Thursday? Similar bike if not -

Not me, it was too hot to do anything last Thursday then way to wet (in Manchester anyway)!
I just did a write up in the Peak District thread with place names and such. Will faff about with the GPX later.

Thanks! I've taken very few good photos, but here it is in "camping mode". It's a Black Mountain Cycles Road+.

650 or 700s?
-

650
Exactly, nail on the head. The frame was free because the seatpost slipped and was so over tightened to get it to stay still that it had cracked so I got it for the price of the parts and "repaired" the carbon at home but still couldn't get the seatpost to stay still. I thought about gluing it in place or wrapping it in carbon but I will change parts in the future and may need to adjust the height a fraction so I just wrapped tape around the stretched inner tube, as you say
