I'd had a whimsical plan to cycle to the World Nomad Games last year before that bug started going around - they had about 30 different types of wrestling on the card, including some on horseback. Also, that one where a bunch of guys on horses fight over a decapitated goat.
For people who have a solitary existence herding livestock on empty mountains, nomads love a bit of physical contact.
