    Why have 3 swimming strokes that are slower than the Aussie Crawl? Having solo and team versions and different lengths of of Freestyle swimming is fine. Having some random different version of arm flailing x all those all over again is dumb.

    Otherwise why do we need to know who is best at throwing a flat round weight, a ball, a ball on a bit of chain and a long stick. Just make it a beanbag and be done with it.

    Also you can blame an Australian for butterfly stroke (trying to swim breaststroke faster by lessening drag), and Melbourne was first time it was in Olympics apparently.
