Not necessarily. Shouldn't speak ill of the dead and all that, but I went to see him (I think at one of the theatres on the Strand) a few years ago, and he was shit.
More charitably, maybe the friend I'd gone with and I just didn't get his style, and we left at the interval so maybe the second half was blinding, but we were really disappointed.
The tickets had been freebies, but frankly it didn't even repay the effort of having gone.
