Emotional guilt isn’t worth a damn thing, IMO. Jail time and civil reparation are the only meaningful punishments, not alleged inner guilt and turmoil. If he had used his fame and meaningful amounts of money to actively campaign against the issues he’s contrite about, it might be different.

For what its worth, he has donated tens of millions of dollars of money to charities related to his past demons and legal reparations with his ex-wife who was his victim (allegedly they became friends after their divorce). Not suggesting that in itself brings him redemption. I'm not even arguing that he deserves redemption. I was just trying to add a little nuance to the "he's a racist national front supporter and rapist" statement, thats all.
By openly and publicly talking about the racist things he said, why he had those beliefs, why they were wrong and what made him change his mind.
He also talks pretty openly about his track record of rape and other sexual violence, where that came from, and the guilt he carries for his actions.
