XC70 so long as you arm yourself with a T25 you'll be able to take the whole thing apart. They're pretty easy to work on. And the only real problem with the 2.4 is the swirl flap arm - best case, it's a £5 part (new arm) worst case... just push it to the open position and never think about it again. Parts are cheap too, certainly second hand. A lot of FMco stuff. I got a whole heated seat for £30 just because I tore my base! Binned the rest and kept the cushion only.
If you do get it, and then get a VIDA DICE (Volvo dealer diag tool) then save yourself loads of time trying to get all the pre reqs running and just download a VM image from here: https://volvodiag.com/download/
