Think @ChainBreaker is using them now
Personally I have read too many reviews which said they were great, until the picture falls off the wall and smashes. But maybe it's just user error. -

A couple of the keys on my keyboard (d and m) have become very erratic with multiple presses required to get them to work. Bog standard Logitech (K270) keyboard. I've tried new batteries. Anything else I can try to fix it?

When you next have a shower or bath take it and your toothbrush in too. A little scrubbing in warm water usually does the trick.

The house we recently moved into has/had loads of them on the wall. They put up a surprising struggle when I removed them, so I suppose that's a reluctant endorsement from me.

Interesting, thanks all. We've got a tub of the original wall paint in a cupboard, so I might just suggest traditional hooks.

Should I be using shower gel or toothpaste?

No, mad demons have demonstrably damaged it, dooming domestic remediation

Any word on LFGSS kits this year? Gonna need a new skinsuit this fall.

I've actually been doodling some ideas lately but not artwork anything up yet.

these sort of picture hooks will leave smaller holes, are secure and can be hit straight into plaster

Is there a forum-approved low self discharge Ni Mh rechargeable AA and AAA? Currently have a fleet of GP ReCyko in circulation (in practically everything) but need some more. Since some of those are well over 10 years old now and still work fine, was just wondering if things have moved on in the last decade and if I should look at something else.

Forum approved? Dunno. But I’m very happy with my Panasonic Eneloops.

Same here.

I am searching for a link to a US cycle forum with lots of custom builds, fancy bikes, rude tone when I remember correctly. Some years ago I read threads there, but don’t remember the name or link. Colors of the web page where… Magenta? Cyan? Was it from L.A.?
Omg that sounds so stupid but maybe someone knows. -

My Silca Impero pump decided to throw itself down College Hill on the way to work the other day, it's a bit dinged up but still seems to work fine. It is however now missing the rubber end cap (I have no idea if that's the correct term), I couldn't find it anywhere. I've had a look online but can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. Can anyone with better google-fu than me help? I've attached a not particularly helpful image to show which part I mean.

Eneloop pro, work well for me, low self discharge and good capacity

Yeah, Eneloops were always the standard setter. Just wondered if I’d missed any advances with Ni Mh tech since the big jump ~12 years ago. I don’t think there has been.
Edit: I think I just remembered why none of mine are Eneloops. I think it was originally because of uncertainty with the number of counterfeits on the market and then I just stuck with what I knew.

You just need to buy modern holders and then fit whatever pads you like. The first few options here should be ok:
https://www.koolstop.eu/catalog/rim-brakes-pads/holders/(The holders aren’t brand specific, so you could also get them elsewhere and use koolstop pads)

Thanks!
These "holders" look a bit shit though -are there no all-in-one pads (holder including pad) any more that fit this anymore these days?

Doesn't even show up on Silca's own website, so may not be available as a spare part.

I think they mostly only exist at the low end now.

BR-4600 etc. uses shoeless pads, the replacements are available all over the place, part number is R50T2. They are a slight upgrade in the sense of having spherical seating washers so the pads will be flat to the rim from new rather than having to wear to fit.
I think there was chat about wall hooks recently in the Home DIY thread
