Problem is, stripping those out is so time consuming and you have quality to consider as most good records from that era got played a lot. You can find no end of near mint records that no one wants to buy!
Collection prices for '80's '90's 12" are very low too you're right to warn him. UK Garage sells very well though.
They do store collections of the kind of people who have a lot of vinyl they don't want any more. Industry types and DJ's were selling through them in the beginning. I tried to sell them a load but when they realised I had a complete list of the items and knew the values they weren't interested. In fairness they don't want collections that have had the best cherry picked from them.
