The movie is Australian, the awful reality belongs to many countries where alcoholism and violence by that kind of men are quite notorious. It's like if we speak of Once were warriors, the problem it's not only for the Maori.

Have you seen The Godfather?

Just watched Patrick, a Belgian movie about a campsite of nudists in the woods. The storyline is about Patrick and his missing hammer from a series of 7. The desperate research of his hammer will bring him up to the point of ?
Also, the death of his father and so the confrontation with the mourning between the two disappearances.
It’s a good crescendo, swinging between moments of meh and wow.

I've just got to this bit.
Fffffuuuuuuck.
It's gone from bad, to ridiculous, to sublime, to another level of just so very awful.

Is there a decent website to see which cinemas in London are showing specific films? I want to see The Green Knight when it's out but can't find it showing anywhere that isn't miles from me!

Yeah, Burton really missed his calling playing scary as fuck gay villains.
Also, Sitting Target with Oliver Reed and Ian McShane, and Robbery with Stanley Baker, loosely based on The Great Train Robbery.
Hell is a City, set in Manchester is a pretty good Brit Noir too. -

I don’t think the Green Knight is officially out in the UK yet. It looks like Showcase cinemas have been given permission to show it early hence why the options to see it a fairly limited at the moment. I think on August 6th it’ll receive a wider release

Made the mistake of re-watching Synecdoche New York last week. It's less a film and more a life-simulation experience. Truly amazing film, but less like watching any other film on earth and more like having a baby - lifechanging and quietly devastating. I am looking forward to putting on something with Jason Statham in it this evening. Jason Statham never makes you look on life differently.

Watched Nobody the other night. Was expecting better. Had some good moments but a lot of it felt strangely flat.

The poster for that film said:
"By the time he kills you, IT'S AN ACT OF MERCY"

It took me a long time to process that film. Brilliant.

Have you seen the Italian Job remix?
I certainly regretted some life choices after seeing that -

Ditto "Revolver".

The underrated The Transporter is clearly Statham's best full-length work.
Although there's also this early experimental short film:
