isofix car seat for small baby, with a swivel base as they seem good.
I'll try and find our one. We really rate the swivel and it goes up to quite a big weight / age.
-ives are:
- you can't have a removable one that slots into a buggy (but imo that is a short lived feature as baby puts on the lbs)
- They're fucking heavy, and not quick to install/reinstall.
- They take up more room, so depending on your car the front passenger seat won't go back as far as you might like.
- They're more expensive.
Despite those downsides we'd still buy one again if we were doing it again and a few people with the pram compatible ones switched.
Most importantly I'd say the swivel really comes into its own and saves your/your partners back if you don't have an SUV or 4x4.
We moved no. 1 into a very similar model to sacredhart's - ours is the version with a cushion.

Looking for an isofix car seat for small baby, with a swivel base as they seem good. Is it a good idea to get one that goes from baby - 3 years? Or better to buy individually for each stage?
