I wouldn’t worry too much about the chip, getting more practice with your hands seems to be the priority to take in consideration. Use a masculine mind. In other words: it ain’t Ken brushing Barbie’s hair.

That’s a beauty, not too big or small. Chipping the blade is a right of passage, at least it’s getting used.

Works great, I've already chipped the blade on concrete tho'... Knob!! Will get a stone on the edge over the weekend, wouldn't have happened if I'd had a tree stump to chop on instead of another log... 🤣
