Looking for an isofix car seat for small baby, with a swivel base as they seem good. Is it a good idea to get one that goes from baby - 3 years? Or better to buy individually for each stage?

For small babies I'd say you're more likely to be lifting them in and out of the car in the seat so I wouldn't worry about the swivel bit too much and potentially look at separate ones for 0-1 year (that detach) and then a swivel one for 1-4 years.

Can anyone recommend a B&B or hotel in Weston-super-Mare? (basic is fine, not too pricey)
Would need to be able to store 2 bikes overnight.
Also any recommendations for best bits of the beach, nice cafes etc welcome. -

I'll get enough recharging opportunities to last the full 4 days... unless OSM drains the battery significantly less than the komoot app.
Use OSMAND in dumb mode, i.e no turn by turn, just the route loaded onto the map,
looks like this with your position shown relative to the track as the blue radar type thingy

Cheers. Is this the one?

+gbj_tester my Google HTFU has drawn a blank, is there an I spec B compatible flat bar brake lever?
I recall there's one for v brake but not sure if it has the reach adjust for canti/road caliper.

I use both Osmand and osmand+
yes you have the right one
the only advantage for me is the amount of maps that can be downloaded, for use in the UK, the free version works well enough.

I have a 10cm radius circle. I want to have another one inside it such that the area of the inner circle is equal to the area of the outer 'donut' section. Presumably it's not 5cm, but what is it?
-
• #109135
If the small circle is r and the large one R, then the area of the small circle is half the area of the large circle when r=(R2/2)0.5
In this case R=10 so r=7.071

I think it’s where Pi * 10^2 = 2 * Pi * r^2
Work out what r is.

I have a rear wheel, Westwood rim for 26" x 1 3/8" (37-590) from which I removed an old Raleigh tyre. I have a 37-590 Schwalbe Marathon tyre, the bead of which I cannot get to stay on. It's sibling tyre fitted perfectly on the front wheel. The tyres aren't new but still have spiky bits from the moulding
How do I get it to play nicely? -

I had that problem at the shop a few times. Slow, incremental inflation with a compressor was the only way I found to keep them on. Also making sure the rim tape isn’t in the way. Normally when they seat I give them a good bounce test (with ear pro on, and I guess eye pro would be a good idea too).

For any 2D shape, to reduce surface area by half, divide linear dimensions by square root of two.
-

That's tidy. Even a virtual innumerate like me can do that.

Good reviews, very safe, kid says it's comfortable and will convert to a booster seat.Kids car seat categories and options are a bit confusing.

To adjust the quality of the tool.
-
• #109145
Specifically:-
- Clockwise adds 'quality'
- Anti-clockwise adds 'tool'
(In reality it's to allow you to tighten it up and reduce the spacing of the blades. Too loose and the blades are pushed apart by thicker things you're cutting. Too tight and and it's hard to operate as it is too stiff.)

isofix car seat for small baby, with a swivel base as they seem good.
I'll try and find our one. We really rate the swivel and it goes up to quite a big weight / age.
-ives are:
- you can't have a removable one that slots into a buggy (but imo that is a short lived feature as baby puts on the lbs)
- They're fucking heavy, and not quick to install/reinstall.
- They take up more room, so depending on your car the front passenger seat won't go back as far as you might like.
- They're more expensive.
Despite those downsides we'd still buy one again if we were doing it again and a few people with the pram compatible ones switched.
Most importantly I'd say the swivel really comes into its own and saves your/your partners back if you don't have an SUV or 4x4.
We moved no. 1 into a very similar model to sacredhart's - ours is the version with a cushion.

Cheers for the feedback on the baby seat, this has been somewhat undermined by my wife just buying the one she wanted new (but I’ll save that for the rant thread).

Ah yes, it may not then - assume biggest factor is size of battery pack and output current, so you can charge more and faster than you drain!
