How long are people finding PCR test results take to come through? Son had a test on Saturday, still waiting for the result today.
Home PCR test ordered Friday afternoon 5pm, delivered Saturday morning 9am, posted completed tests 10am Saturday morning, results by email/text 10pm Sunday.
Self isolating as we did lateral flow tests on Friday prior to a family party (including some 80 year olds) and daughter's came back positive, hence the PCR confirmation. Her PCR was positive and I'm negative. Looks like they've lost Mrs GB's test as she hasn't got a result and has an email reminding her to send it in. We posted all three at once so I guess something has gone awry or hers is being processed in a separate batch, or I entered the wrong barcode numbers - don't expect it to be anything other than negative and doesn't change much if it wasn't, we're still all isolating for 10 days.
She's annoyed she'll miss the last week of school (including the plays/concerts and leavers party as she is Y6) plus some family things we had planned for this weekend, but needs must.
No symptoms amongst any of us so it's all a little bit boring.
