I've got a very vague recollection of some kind of web meme from the early days (maybe a geocities webpage?) of an eccentric gentleman waxing lyrical about his odd bikes and saying SHIMANO IS THE BEST!
Amey remind me of him. 10 points if anyone can find it from that terrible description.
