Depends on the guards I guess. I have 45mm tyres on there with plenty of clearance, I think they claim 50mm on 700c which seems accurate based on the clearance I have now.
My fairlight comfortably fitted 28mm with guards and 32mm without, so based on that, 45mm with guards might be possible?
Edit, not great pic, but here is the clearance at the bridge with 45mm tyres
