The stage finishes next to the Stade Velodrome Eddy Merckx too. Cavendish should get his pen out again and rename it in my opinion.
Merckx showing himself up as a child has been the highlight of this TdF for me.

Can we have Merckx being brought out by the organisers to award Cavendish the green jersey at the end?
Though he might already be in Paris with a stick to shove in Cav’s spokes.
