Current SuperSix status. Gone back to Vittoria Corsas after trying out some Goodyear Eagle F1’s that were laughably shit…. Went up to 30c instead of my standard 28’s for a change too…. Makes such a difference!
Been meaning to change the bars and stem for something carbon to get the weight down a bit, but i just never seem to get round to it.

I've currently got S-Works Shallow Bend Carbon Handlebars on mine - comfy and a reasonable weight (200g) with an alloy stem. I don't mind mixing brands.
Interested to hear that 30s make a noticeable difference to the ride. May give them a go once my current Corsas wear out.

Paint job appropriately epic, that’s really nice.
I do envy the tyre clearance on modern frames. The idea of 30’s seems dreamy.

Get a CAAD9!

You can get 30s on a caad9?!?
Tbh I’ve not tried on my six13, I’m just assuming it would be worryingly tight..

I have a pretty immaculate black 56 CAAD7 frame... I have finally come to terms with the fact it is too small for me. Does anyone have a 58cm CAAD to swap?? Ideally 7/8/9

It was a pointless exercise but i did manage it. Also depends which Slice fork you have. I'd imagine you could get 30's on a 12 a lot more comfortably pending calipers.

Ah okay. Premium slice.
I reckon it would just squeeze in but I’d actually have more of a challenge with the clearance between rear tyre and seat tube.

You'll regret that the day you drop the bike

All my other road bikes have carbon bars and stems - none of them have killed me yet. I’m sure I’ll manage!

Got a frame bag and holy shit I love it. Also I still don’t understand how to set up these ergo bars.

Bars down, levers up. Basically just so the bottom straight section is just off horizontal, or start with them horizontal and make minor adjustments from there.

Jesus. Some collection. All rad but I’d probably grab the Super Six if I found myself alone in your shed at night.

Cool bikes. I've built one of these for a friend recently.
