yep, plenty of other worked planned (in our heads - mid-purchase at the mo) including opening up the current kitchen by taking that wall between it and the dining room and rejigging it (probs along the wall with with chimney breast, then also removing the current wall diving up the utility. Would also like some kind of glazed double-doors between dining and living rooms, one or two velux windows in the current kitchen roof etc. etc.
Hard to say without knowing the pipe work but I can't imagine it will be an issue as its not a massive difference.
Macerators are hell on earth, I'd avoid.
How much work are you getting done? Because that floor plan is screaming out to have the kitchen rearranged and big doors put in the back.
