Made from 18/10 stainless. Just like my knife and fork set. The people who buy this probably deserve what they get, though.

Suspect we'd get a good deal on a group buy. Shall I start a list?

I worry that my one-night stands or long-term partners would discern a difference and pass judgement accordingly.

It's so sharp that it stays sharp even if everything else is out of focus.

Tidy margin, there. Not worth buying at any price though. ‘Total crap’, as Gerald Ratner once said.

More anti than porn.
I had a word with myself and realised that with everything else on my tdl, a diy handle made using hand tools was not a good use of my time.
So I got some old bar tape, string and electrical tape. Then folded the blade packet over and duct taped to make a protective cover.
I got this from ebay, so was limited in size choice. But longer would definitely be better. I'd say this, the 30cm, is really the min length. Otherwise why bother with a non-folding version?

I'd like to get my dad a japanese knife for father's day, budget of £50-60. For general kitchen work - something smaller rather than a meat knife.
What would be the go to thing?

I do need it to be able to chop firewood, are those axes up to the job? Wasn't planning on spending much but it's a rabbit hole, isn't it? Quite like these, way more than I was planning on spending... Gransfors Bruk X 2, Muller and Spyderco pictured... Hmmmm...

Do you mainly want to do chopping or splitting?
Makes a difference as to what sort of axe you want.

Yes, I'll be splitting logs... Who knew there was so much more to it than just picking a pretty shaped one?
