How did your time on the Brompton compare with what you would have expected to do on a 'normal' TT bike?
A friend of mine acquired some of the special 17" rims which Moultons used for racing. He built a TT bike around them, I think with the belief he would be at least as fast as on his usual TT bike.
Alas, it was not to be. After several attemps he concluded the small wheel machine was at least two minutes slower over 25 miles.

Haha that would look so rad. My missus almost bought me a Brompton for my birthday but she got me the KICKR instead which I have to say, given lockdown, has been used a shitload more than a Brompton would. One day I'll add one to my collection though. I used my 58T to do a 49 and then sold it. :) Then again I raced last year's 12hr with a 57T so it's not like big gears are just for short events or slow cadence riders.
