Doesn't rule it out, but does make it awkward. I managed to fit a toilet under my stairs in a very similar setup to yours , with the soil pipe boxed in at floor level -rather than underneath- until it gets behind what for us is the kitchen units.
Everything I've heard about macerator toilets seems to agree, hard no.
I posted this floorplan not long ago and thought it'd be an idea to move the toilet from the back wall to under the stairs to open up the back room more - but I think I omitted the fact that it's a mid-terrace.
Does that rule out the possibility of such a shift, as the soil pipe wouldn't have sufficient drop to cover 5m or so to the back wall/main soil pipe?
The other option would be using a saniflo/macerator type system - anyone had any experience of them?
