Got enough myself, sorry

Green Spot. More drinkable than the Arran 10, but less depth.

Not overly familiar with Jamesons, but for a novelty brand Pogues irish whiskey is remarkably drinkable.
I oft recommend to people who don't drink whiskey as a starter one, it is not peated, and is a little sweet (not bourbon sweet)

Basic bitch alert: JDs £17 at my local Sainsburys

Can't do JD. Too sweet. Bourbon as bad as peaty bullshit.
Went for Suntori for a high street change.
Will report back.

Canada, my BiL brings me whisky samples or a bottle that’s unavailable around here whenever they visit.

• #3858
CC is your obvious answer then :)

Let it be for you.

Haha, pass. My brother loved that stuff in Oz. I never liked it.

If I have to do a blend the fallback is usually Crown Royal, ‘produced’ just a short distance from here.
-
• #3862
Not sure I've ever seen that. I've not been to Canada and I think the only thing that made it to Oz was CC. I suddenly feel the need to watch more Letterkenny...

You still in Oz? Widely available in UK.

Nope, UK. But I don't remember seeing it. It'll be one of those things that I see everywhere now.

Well Suntori is good.

Makers Mark 46 is £28 on Amazon for Prime day

Did spot that earlier, along with Laphroaig Quarter Cask for £27. Unfortunately, I bought a bottle of the 10 YO recently when I saw it on offer for £28 so could not justify the QC. Oh well. More than good enough and less money going to Bezos...although I doubt he will miss it.
