  • Why is the collar pull on Shaka not a red. It is clear dangerous play, it is equivalent to garrotting someone. In rugby that is a straight red and a multiple game ban I’m sure. Where is the difference?

  • Im going from memory here but shirt pulling is only a yellow card offence and only if you are "stopping a promising attack". Those are the FIFA rules IIRC, not sure if UEFA is different.

    Years of nebulous rule changes and ambiguity leading to all decisions being based on what was given last week.
