Is SRAM 9 speed mtb cassette spacing the same as Shimano 10 speed road? Remember there was some cross compatibility between 9/10speed.. cannae remember the details though.
No. SRAM road and mtb 9 spacing = Shimano road and mtb 9 spacing.

Older 5700 10-speed shifters can, but I think the newer ones might have changed to the 11-speed shift ratio. Someone will need to confirm that though.
