at this point does being a good GC leader mean you are either Pog or Rog?
-
• #2428
Can Pog get back on the sauce to make it interesting again
-
• #2429
Winning a GC in Movistar where no1 takes your team seriously vs trying to win while every ineos rider and move being marked and followed I guess.
-
• #2430
I'm starting to think you aren't a true Movistar supporter at all!
-
• #2431
No love for Egan?!

The French commentators enjoy taking the piss in a way that's a lot more fun than anything from the British ones. Froome stopped to change bike and they said "Attaque de Froome ... en voiture". When Valverde was trying to chase Kuss it was "Allez Opi!".

I like Bernie but everyone knows you can't be a good GC leader with a bad back.
-
• #2434
Pog smokes a weak opposition - he's doping
Cav comes back winning every sprint after years of decline - an example of cleanliness, best sprinter ever
Take a look at opinions outside of our cycling bubble. Cavendish is a doper comments seem to outnl number Cavendish is a great sprinter 10 to 1 on social media.

Ben O'Connor on his attack earlier "I was just trying to get a headstart"
-
• #2436
Fine. Apart from winning the Giro and 2nd in the Vuelta and currently 4th in the Tour, what has Carapaz done for us?
Maybe Ineos need to update their tactics then... Seeing them old-skool burn through the team one by one and then when the big moment comes for Carapaz he's unable to do anything seems not to be working. -

I think they'd have expected to have Tao there on the last climb too but he's clearly not going anywhere near as well as he'd have hoped. That said I think you are right, Carapaz is not on his super best form yet and there's not much to choose among the top 5 or 6. But there's 2 more mountain stages to come so differences might well grow.

It's been a long while since the Mountain jersey classification was this interesting though.

Anyone can throw baseless accusations. It's pretty tiresome
-
• #2440
Ineos really seem like they miscalculated something in the run-up. No-one has been as expected apart from Thomas on the tarmac.

• #2441
Spotted froome getting a bike from the team car, with rim brakes.
-
• #2442
Would love it if he flies on rim brakes tomorrow. Stage win.
-
• #2443
Tomorrow's stage is about the only stage this Tour that Froome can win.
-
• #2444
Lol
-
• #2446
Speaking of glasses, why did Kuss toss his just before the line today?
-
• #2447
cav is safe for SPOTY and knighthood!
-
• #2448
lol, too soon

• #2449
Silver linings.

Opi
Too soon.
It was after I won the Giro and came second at the Vuelta that I decided I didn't really have what it takes in the big races.
