Shame Valverde couldn’t get the win, he’s a class act.

I'm sure one of the ITV commentators called Ben O'Connor, Des O'Connor then just carried on hoping nobody noticed.

Hot take: Carapaz is a good super domestique but not a GC leader. He's been put in a good position a few times now and never has the extra legs to exploit it.
