Can they be tracked on Flightradar24?
-

Usually, although lots of people say that FR24 filters military flights but most red arrows seemed to be in there in the past.

Cheers!
Turns out we can see the stadium from the in-laws garden so hopefully get a view 🤞🏻

If I remember I will tune a scanner in to their air to air frequency. Probably not a surprise to say that their communication and coordination skills are mesmerising to listen to.

Seen these Apaches over Manchester multiple times in the last week, a pair of them call signs OUTLAW1 & 2, seem to be landing at Barton Aerodrome before heading back to the southeast somewhere….

Just watched a C17 globemaster trundling in to Brize Norton. Took us a while to work it out as it was so big and slow. 8h15 flight from Dubai.
-
• #2585
Brize Norton's had much larger visitors recently...

Beast. Is that the largest flying aircraft in operation?

There's the Airbus Beluga XL as well.

The wiki entry uses 'heaviest' aircraft. (Antonov)

61-2667, aka the sole remaining WC-135 Constant Phoenix, just coming back into Mildenhall after returning from the Middle East and turning it's tracker on just west of Lebanon (seems to be standard US practice, presumably for security reasons plus the lack of a requirement to use ADS-B east of there):

Bit worrying given what's going on in Afghanistan 😬

Spent the afternoon in Thetford Forest with teh kiddies today. 3 euro fighters doing loops around overhead most the early afternoon, saw a super hercules pass over the car coming in to land and one of those crazy Boeing Osprey which was a first for me.

That'd be an F15 in your picture though, right?
-
• #2594
See, I didn't think it was a eurofighter but I've been so busy getting my head fried by 3 boys I didn't get a chance to look it up properly. Should actually look at the photo properly before I post ha!

Eurofighter has the 'little wings' at the front.
-
• #2596
I thought the F 15 was scrapped years ago.
-
• #2598
I think Lakenheath /Mildenhall have f15's. I think the only ones flying are F15c and Strike Eagle though.?

People call them wings, but that's a canard

Maybe as UK base? USAF use F 18 non?
Apparently the red arrows are doing a fly-by of Wembley stadium this evening, for some reason. Path goes over Reading, Slough to Wembley and then north according to this link:
