i know youngs of leigh high rd, lewisham.. i did go to school at ASKES...new cross.. my bus everyday went by youngs cycles.. every other day i would get off my bus, just to look at the lovely bikes... i always wanted a claud butler...from youngs.. i think it was: reynolds 531 tubing etc.. this does bring back many memories... i am 55 now and do own a claud butler... but sadly not from youngs....

My mate’s surname is Young. Lives in Lewisham. She rides a Young’s. It’s a really nice touring rig.

They pop up on fb, gumtree and eBay once in a while. Colney hall cycle works in west wickam is selling an 80s Young’s touring bike, found it on fb marketplace, that was built up there.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of the old Youngs BMX mechanics a couple of weeks ago. I now also want a Youngs BMX, not that I should be buying any more bikes but hey

Youngs tourer for sale
Hi, Hope it’s ok to add to this thread. I had a Youngs Aggressor frame in the late seventies and it was a top quality ride. Really nice. I now have a Young’s Grandini frame from the late eighties to build up as a summer ride. My question is about who might have built it? As far as I know from other sites the Grandini were built by various builders at different times. Any clues anyone? There are no frame numbers or other marks to go on.
