That'll probably be the answer. Was hoping to do the transport faff before eating rather than after. Dad is helpfully suggesting restaurants he remembers from the 90s...

You could also have a look on Happy Cow to see if anything appeals to you--there are plenty of 'veg options' listings:

This also lists things like Pret, so a little more work needed in weeding these out. Still, taxi may be the way to go.
