If anyone finds themselves in North West Wales then you could do worse than the Eating Gorilla vegan cafe in Penrhyndeudraeth. Went for lunch the other day, is decent!

A review of Tofu Vegan:
I'll definitely go soon. Have you managed to go there yet, O untaggable one?

Just got lunch from the new vegan shack place in Manchester Piccadilly, double cheeseburger and fries for £5 lunchtime special, brought back long dormant memories of the few McDonalds cheeseburgers I had as a kid, but like, really nice. Only a little crappy style burger but only a few quid, perfect for lunch, the menu's got some big ol' posh ones on too.

whatt youd have to pay double that in the trendier parts of shordich these days

They've got double priced burgers on the menu, but these are like exact rip offs of the cheapo MacDonalds ones.

I note that Mildred's is now listed as vegan on Happy Cow.

Disappointed that bourneville buttons are going to be non-veeg. They're not amazing but covered that cheap £1 pouch of chocolate fix for me

what are protips to make sure you get enough B12?
and/or fortified cereals; which ones? -
• #8944
Take a supplement - https://www.vegansociety.com/shop/veg-1-supplements
Our nutritional yeast and milk are fortified but the amount of those we eat is way too low to be enough.

As a lazy person I just take supplements.
Also make sure you're getting iodine.

No idea on children's nutrition - I don't really pay too much attention to mine, a supplement every day and cooking with lots of green veg and pulses seem to be working ok so far.
The Vegan Society has some advice here: https://www.vegansociety.com/resources/nutrition-and-health/life-stages/under-fives

Be careful on the iodine front. I took a supplement last year (that mouth spray stuff) and fucked my thyroid. Docs thought I had cancer amongst other grim things.

I use drops and the doctor is happy with my levels. Tons of options out there.
I missed the Omni chat! That sounds banging, going to give that a go I reckon. Can't turn down the opportunity for a mushroom cocktail.
