we would have been much better off vaccinating those who need it here
That's not really going to help though, vaccines work by making the whole population less receptive to getting or spreading the virus, and above a certain point, stopping it all together, a lot of the people who are most vulnerable and "need" it will be most likely to not be able to have it, which is why everyone else should get it to protect them.

I don't think we're at the point of being able to stop it altogether, unvax transmission was 10% in a household, Vax transmission is 6/5% depending on brand (see BMJ link posted back pages)
Hi All,
Apologies if this is a bit of a ramble! Its great that everyone has their opinion, I fully respect the FU my family are vulnerable you are a c*nt view/every 'vaccine hesitant' is a White supremacist (This ones completely wrong btw)
First let me explain that I like to think I am not a c*nt, I have a very close family member who I would consider in the extremely vulnerable category so my decisions are not off the back of a couple of google searches. I have spent considerable time making the decision I have and its not been taken lightly. I really do hope my decision is the wrong one and no one comes to any harm because of it but I am standing by it and I feel that the minute increase in absolute risk to other people is justified.
I am not an anti-masker and I have full respect for maintaining peoples personal space.
I assume that everyone here maintains their Vit levels to ensure they have the best natural defence against catching viruses. I mean you are a selfish MF if you don't right?
I also understand that we as a nation have been bombarded with negative repression over the last year and a half so we will grasp onto any glimmer of hope to get through this.
The reality is there are so many layers to this discussion that its mad to think every individual should all 'get on board' and take the jab for the good of humanity. As i've said previously i'm not antivax is any shape or form and I would certainly recommend it for those that are most vulnerable, where the benefits outweigh the risks. This Vaccine isn't approved yet, issues such as ADE will only start to come to light as time goes on. We all know that this is a worldwide issue so imo we would have been much better off vaccinating those who need it here and then giving the rest to other countries before we even consider vaccinating an entire population (sorry for my opinion). I mean there are a lot of arguments against blanket vaccination anyway.
I was lucky enough to listen into a conference of world leaders discussing the vaccine and I did not come away from it with the impression that this rollout was based on any form of solid scientific foundation. I mean our Government have been top class throughout this entire process right! Oh and big Pharma, top guys right! They absolutely have the wellbeing of the people at the very top of their list right! (£££££).
Even a small investment from the government into positive advertisement around health and wellbeing through this pandemic might have helped instead of a campaign of fear. I won't even get started on how some of the mass vaccination rollout costs (£££ viral advertising alone) would have been better spent on helping to prevent the Cancer Tsunami and depression/suicide crisis thats coming. Both of which will have probably affected all of us at some time in our lives right?
edit: One last note. All those calling me out for my decision I sure hope you didn't partake in any eating out to help out last year!
