  • I was offshore on a rig years ago, there was a spate of tit for tat shitting in other people's showers.

The OIM had a photo of one of the offending turds laminated and it was posted on every deck safety noticeboard with the advice that anyone caught shitting in the showers would be on the next chopper home. It was even the main subject of an entire morning safety briefing!

  • My wife worked offshore for several years. How she put up with that (literal) shit I don't know.

  • Mate of a mate sent me it, Brea Alpha was backing up, been on numerous rigs and platforms, never seen a shit in a shower thank christ, although would have been a great safety card!

This needs to be framed somewhere, funniest thing I have read for ages!

A friend of mine was desperate to take a shit in a shared house but the bog was being used. The house had a separate shower room and he unloaded in there and had to 'toe it down' as he so eloquently put it!!

  • Twice in my working life I've had to remind contractors where to shit. One was someone going in the shower and the other was just on the floor in the toilet cubicle.

  • When I first started working on the railway there was an all company email threatening that anyone caught shitting in substation kettles would be dismissed.
