Anyone doing the Glenduro this year? I'm potentially in the area but may give it a go at another point- has anyone done the route before
-
• #20056
Where's that?

Beacom Lane, descending from Werneth Low
-
• #20058
Ah, I have been down there but it was mainly ice and snow so didn't look quite the same.

Ahh I think I did this on one of those Rapha Cross Prestige events. Lovely bit heading Marple way?
-
• #20060
Yep, from there down into Marple. Here's the route https://www.komoot.com/tour/413713665

Ha, was just thinking about throwing together a 25-30 mile blast for tomorrow, that's basically perfect, starts in the right place too.

• #20062
Although weather looks a bit shit so might just get drunk tonight instead.
-
• #20063
Surely the solution is therefore to do it tonight and take some cans up with you?

Has anyone got a good off road route from SE to Brighton?

Has anyone got a good off road route from SE to Brighton?
I lifted this from somewhere, can't remember where, use at own risk, etc.

That one looks more interesting than my suggestion (which is essentially the return route and while adequate- is less adventurous than you may want).

Ride the Thames path gravel to Richmond / Kew then follow this: https://www.komoot.com/tour/62464463
Done it a few times. Nothing too technical!

NDW -> Downs Link -> SDW. If you're feeling brave add Peaslake to the route.
Or grab the forum classic via thamese path to Guildford and Downs Link from there.
I have the GPX files for both if want them. -

Nice one. GPX would be great if possible, many thanks. I’ll PM my email

Ah this a gravel thread. This one will be best I think. It starts in Tooting so if I were in SE I'd just drop straight south to NDW and follow it from there.

https://www.komoot.com/tour/390787246 the Peaslake route. I did a lot of walking on this one.

Yes, will be on gravel bike, so nothing too technical would be good.
Thanks for this.
