Won't derail by replying fully but totally agree than quality can be an issue. It's made even worse by the skiing as it's so weather dependent. I.e if the race starts an hour late waiting for fog to clear, the Eurosport coverage just cuts to the next show at the end of the original allotted slot. Means you miss coverage of almost every race when the weather is unstable.
When the world weightlifting championships were on I subscribed but the coverage was so hard to watch/such low priority I just gave up. Wasn’t available on catch up, or would simply cut off when something else more popular was scheduled. I think it’s a bit better if you have a telly and can use the red button, but it drove me mental that the web service was so useless by comparison.
Not to mention how utterly shit the camera work is too. Makes me laugh that the big social media accounts are better at filming the lifts that the pros. Same goes for the olympics. Loads of daft zooming in and out at the worst moments. I don’t want a close up shot of the lifters face, I want to see how the actual lift looks ffs.
