Yeah, at the time I was running Rubino Pros on my fixed and GP4000S on my road bike and I liked them both very much. I treated the fixie to a pair of 4Seasons and I was really surprised by the grip thing. It wasn’t to do with the ultimate amount of grip, it was how the grip would suddenly disappear in the wet. They were really quite hairy on anything remotely slick - while I found the Rubino Pros were much more communicative and you could feel where the grip was and how much was left. The 4Seasons would be there and then suddenly let go.
Plus they punctured three times in a fortnight on really quite small bits of grit.
I was about to mention this, Im also not the biggest fan of them. Just find them quite slow and dead feeling, however I never found them lacking in grip.
Had more punctures (1) than my GP4000 (0). I dont think this means much. :)
