  • We did something similar, where we had the crate in our room at night for the first few months until she could hold her bladder overnight, since then we moved the crate into the living room next door and then the kitchen, and then after a year and her starting to cry in the crate first thing in the morning, we decided she was getting too big for the crate and started letting her sleep in the kitchen/office on her own where she has a choice of 2 beds.

    She's been fine like that for 6 months and in the event i go in there at 6am to get ready to take her for a walk, shes regularly still asleep or if she's awake she's gone and found a bone or something to occupy herself
