• Ooof what a stunner! And a lovely ride too. Wish I'd got the size smaller but recently conceded it's a fraction big for me.

52cm frame, but more like 54/55 geometry with a 54.5mm effective top tube.

Comes with a Whisky full carbon tapered fork and Hope headset. Also going to sell it with the Silca Impero frame pump as it fits so perfectly (the frame has a pump peg) and won't fit any of my other bikes. The pump was bought new shortly after I got the frame and it's never actually been used to inflate a tyre, but has happily been there if called upon. I've enjoyed not having to carry a mini pump in my jersey.

It didn't come with the down tube mounted barrel adjusters but I had some in the spares drawer which I'll leave on the frame.

The bike was bought a year ago and has only covered exactly 1530 miles (strava has some uses). It's generally been kept for best use and not used at in grotty/winter weather, although I've got caught in the odd shower of course.

Condition is very nice with no dinks or dings, just one v small oval paint chip at the top of the fork, 3mm x 1.5mm.

English threaded BB, external cable routing (or interval for Di2 cables is that's your thing), 27.2mm post and massive tyre clearances are all reasons I chose it as a refreshing alternative to integrated everything and proprietary parts on most modern road bikes. Images show 30mm tyres to give you an idea of clearances.

Thru' axles included (100x12 and 142x12), brakes are for flat mount. Takes guards too. More info and geo here:

New the frameset, headset and pump cost over £1500, I'm looking for £800 collected from near Maidstone or can post if you cover the cost.

Also selling the Hope 20Five wheels and most of the Grx 800 series 1x groupset but I'll put up a separate listing for those in due course. Could probably do a deal on the whole lot if interested.

Let me know if you have any questions. Ta.

  • Great looking bike, but I am after the GRX if available.
@Glws thank you for dibs on my behalf.

  • Hi fella. Just listed the GRX if you want more deets.

    https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/365446/

  • Massive salute for the great prices all around.

  • Hmmm re-evaluating my pending build based on this

  • I have Cahors to thank for that! 😉

  • Sorry for any confusion caused.

Happy to knock £50 off if any prospective buyers didn't want the pump BTW.

  • The hell you are 😄

Not for me this time, too divergent from my aims. It is very good though. The hope seatpost looks great in it - how do you like that?

  • Ha thanks. Didn't realise you were considering the frameset. I thought you were considering 1x or something else for your build.

The hope seatpost is a lovely thing. Beautifully made and finished. But I don't think there's enough of it showing out of the frame for it to have too much of a noticeable influence on the feel of the ride. But it clamps the saddle nice and securely without ever tilting and the post has remained in place without ever slipping. So for me, its a great post :)

  • Interested in the pump if sold separately

  • Wish I'd got the size smaller but recently conceded it's a fraction big for me.

Phew. This probably almost certainly means it's too big for me...

  • Yeah reckon so mate. Get one in the next size down though, they're really nice.

  • Nice whip. Looks like a decent fit on the pics though, going by saddle and stem.

Where were the pics taken? Not Peckham

  • Actually, yeah, round the back of Morrisons in Peckham. You know, the scenic bit.

Actually it was a short but welcome break to the Dordogne last year before we had to cut it short with a mad dash to make the suddenly imposed 4am curfew to avoid a fortnight's self isolation. Made the last ferry which arrived in Dover for 3.58am! The pics were from a stunning ride out to Cahors.

The stem is a -17 80mm, but it still feels a little high at the front. I think I'll be better off with a smaller frame as I can get lower with a bit less reach.

  • Hi do you have a price for the complete build as it is in the first photos

  • Sorry no, been asked that a few times but it's been dismantled now as I'm keeping the cranks, bars, stem, post, saddle etc. I'll PM you with what's available. Thanks for the interest though. D

  • Great build, GLWS.

  • Thanks. Buyer collected the frameset and pump in person tonight. Thanks for all the interest.

GRX group also sold. Just the wheels remaining if anyone interested in those. Will get some pics of the rear tomorrow in the daylight.
