Contis come up a bit wider, they are a bit smoother in tread and have more grip. I simply find them to be a higher quality of tyre also.
For total comfort; telescopic and fit a suspension seatpost or a sprung saddle?
Bars / grips make a huge difference;
I fit wider bars and ergo grips to pretty much 8/10 builds

Thanks for chiming in again @Nick_S - I don't own a Brompton electric but am looking into them for an elderly family member.
They did already test-ride a Brompton and like it - but wished it was a little more comfortable.
I guess a better saddle will help and was wondering about what tyre options there are that might further improve the experience (speed is not a priority here : )
@user91463 in what way do the contis differ from the stock (Marathon Racers)?
Ti seatpost sunds nice @amey, but not sure they wanna splash out the monies for that 🙂
