Thanks all. Yes the lady that won totally smashed it. Started out in 2nd place for the first couple of checkpoints behind a fast guy but he ended up DNF after going too hard and dropping out.
Just looking through the results - top 3 all 23hrs something then a big gap out to the chap in front of me (only 10 mins, if only I'd known!) and myself.
11 finishers total - that's a huge DNF rate!
