Not that anyone asked, but I get a lot of joy out of these single-pass stretchy straps. For those who make their own straps I reckon the hardware alone is well worth the price. As mentioned, I chuck them in the washing machine regularly and I've not seen any rust or damage.
Managed to force one of these onto a Casio W800, making for the ultimate stretchy/comfy, lightweight work out watch.
