I was trying to set good standards to start! Mayve thats my mistake

They're going to end up in your bed anyway, don't waste time fighting it.
The longer you leave it the better chance you have of persuading them to sleep elsewhere in the future.
Give in too early and sleeping in your bed will be the only thing they expect.

Turd monster arrived yesterday, obviously a tough night.
Many say leave them alone, and many say bring the crate into your room. I guess you just have to decide which tactic you employ while they settle. I guess the leave them is more 'old school'
