Eurostile is to all intents and purposes just Microgramma with added lower case.

Ah I always thought Microgramma looked a bit more old-school and outdated, in a cool way, but I may have just been imagining it

To really embarass the council, it's become necessary to use the font on the right here illustrated by Mr. Babbage (long story)
Can anyone put a name to this?...

Won't be a font, it'll be specific to the display hardware. You might find something close enough in here:

[Reposting my query in this thread]
Any suggestions as to which font was used to generate this decal from Eclipse cycles in the mid 1980s? The second example is from the heading used in their brochure, though it lacks the black outline of the decal. I have tried inserting it into https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont
but there were no matches.

Eurostile Bold Extended?

Close, it's Microgramma. You can tell by the flat top of the counter in the A and on the underside of the M and the 1.

I been out the game too long!! Microgramma was one of my favourite Letraset fonts as a kid as well, should've got that one... 🙃
Microgramma, I'd say, tho that's just off the top of my head, not doing a comparison. Microgramma > Eurostile, always.
