Mostly.
Gifts have to be declared if value is over £50 and you should not accept them if it could possibly be perceived that the gift might influence your professional judgement. In most cases, small gifts for nurses are fine.
The Trust I worked for had a no gifts >£50 policy for people at band 9 and above.
In lieu of a better pay rise you can take gift cards for the staff at the vaccine clinics...
