New chain ring for old cranks £60
Wrong gear cable £10

Hours spent 20-30?
Sanity lost? All of it, every singly bit
Paying a nice bike person and just waiting an extra month before I got to ride it? £200?
I guess I still would have had the crank and chainring issue
ha! Losing it at bike mechanics is similar to trying to get back into shape after a long spell of inactivity, I enjoy both.
